Caterham Superlight R400 Duratec – very well sorted factory-built example, reluctantly for sale due to lack of use. I spent quite a while searching for the right spec car and this one ticked all the boxes and more. I’ve owned it since January 2022.
It’s covered 25,150 miles and is finished in Lotus burnt orange. It’s in excellent condition and the paintwork is fantastic, with paint protection film fitted.
It’s a great balance of road and track car – it rides surprisingly well on the road and is hugely capable on circuit. It runs smoothly, throttles have been balanced, TPS adjusted correctly and is very well behaved at low engine speeds as well as being ballistic when you press on.
Fresh service just carried out and new front tyres fitted. It comes with a big history file containing stacks of paperwork, including the original bill of sale and factory upgrade invoices. Two sets of keys, MOT until August – I’m happy to arrange a fresh one if wanted. The spec is as follows:

Roller Barrel Throttle Bodies factory upgrade, inc ECU and carbon air box (approx 220bhp). Also comes with a Pipercross foam filter which adds some extra induction noise and a bit more power
