2018 Caterham Academy car
Another new addition at PT is this very lightly used Academy car which took part in the Caterham Academy in 2018. This car is in completely original condition and tested very little during 2018.
Caterham Academy specification includes:
Ford Sigma VCT engine with 125bhp
Mazda 5 speed gearbox
BMW differential. Open and 3.91 CWP
Narrow track
Height adjustable dampers
Quick release steering wheel
Lowered floors
Full cage and right hand side intrusion bar
Apollo wheels with Academy specification tyres
Black pack and weather equipment including full hood
This is not a car that was tested with relentlessly during the season as can be seen from the condition and mileage. This will make a perfect practice car for someone competing in Academy in 2024 or as a car to upgrade due to the low running time.
Save for a very small crease in the left hand side skin and very minor damage to the right hand cycle wing the car is in excellent condition. Despite this the car will pass through our multipoint check before going to the new owner. The car will come with 12 months MOT.
