I am reluctantly selling my Caterham 7 as I don't get much use out of it so would like to move it on to someone that will get more use of the car. I have owned the car since 2019 and the owner before had it from 2012
The car features a nice spec with some additional upgrades. The engine is the uprated Supersport 1.6 and it also has the optional 4 into 1 exhaust system. It has the standard track width front wishbones with an open rear differential and the 8 spoke caterham alloys. 13x6 front and 13x8 rear. Avon Tyres CR500 front and ZZS rear. It also has a lowered drivers floor and does have the heater.
Since I purchased the car in 2019 and within the last 2000 miles it has had the following parts replaced/upgraded:
Interior: Tillet bucket seats, carbon vinyl tunnel cover, all interior carpet, genuine Caterham alloy handbrake and gear knob, Sparco 270mm suede steering wheel, Westermann Motorsport carbon fibre dash, 620R style dash switches, Aim MXS Strada 1.2 digital dash complete with GPS08 module for gps speed and lap time data. The dash can be customised to display various different styles analog or digital readouts and displays the current gear (calculated by rpm/speed and gear ratios) Dual 12v outlets in passenger footwell (one standard cigarette style socket and another dual usb outlet, both are ignition switched so they won't be left on and risk draining the battery)
Exterior: New heated windscreen glass, new wiper blades Motamec genuine carbon fibre mirrors, black vinyl stripes including side stripes (as these are vinyl they can be removed) , Classic Carbon rear light boxes and number plate cover, Just Add Lightness LED lights including rear tail/turn/brake, fog, reverse, number plate and front guard side repeaters. The front indicators are also small LED replacements, new 5 3/4 headlights with LED sidelight bulbs and philips racing vision H4 Halogens for dipped/main beam, lowered headlight brackets, Soft Bits for Sevens carbon vinyl boot cover.
Engine bay: Carsten Filmer carbon fibre battery holder with LiFePo4 Lithium battery, JS Performance silicone coolant hoses, new heater bypass valve, new coolant bleed tee, 82c thermostat with new housing seals, stainless steel manifold studs on both inlet and exhaust with new inlet/exhaust gaskets, stainless steel cam cover bolts, Pro Ram air filter, new spark plug leads, new water temp and oil pressure senders for the aim dash, new oil cap, new throttle cable, new sump foam, new NGK spark plugs.
Other: Full genuine carbon fibre boot floor (the panels are removable if access is required) Soft Bits for Sevens shower cap.
The car has just been serviced which included new engine oil & filter, coolant, brake fluid, gearbox oil and differential oil. It has just been MOT'd on the 16th of May with no advisories. Soft bits for Sevens half hood and shower cap will be included as pictured and I also have the Full hood with hood bars which will also be included. 2 Keys both with immobiliser fobs and fuel cap keys.
The car will come with a CTEK Lithium XS battery charger which has a convenient connection point in the passenger footwell as pictured, beside this is the micro usb connector to allow connection to the Aim dash with a laptop.
The paintwork does have some minor marks here and there with some small bubbling on the bottom edges of the scuttle panel but nothing major and overall is in good condition for the age and milage.
